Updating Prequalification Criteria in Trestle

Corporate policies evolve to address new risks, and Trestle makes it easy to update your prequalification criteria without creating entirely new ones. By modifying existing criteria, you can requalify vendors efficiently and keep your requirements up to date.

How to Update Prequalification Criteria

  1. Navigate to the Criteria Configuration
    • Go to the Prequal Criteria page from the top menu bar.
    • Use the dropdown menu to select the criteria you want to update.
  2. Make Your Changes
    • Navigate to the specific question within the criteria that you’d like to modify.
    • Update the question or requirements as needed.
  3. Confirm Pending Regrade
    • After making changes, a notification will appear informing you of the pending regrade process.
    • You have 1 hour from the last change to make additional edits to any section of the same criteria.
  4. Automatic Regrade and Vendor Notification
    • After the 1-hour window, the regrading process will automatically begin.
    • Trestle will:
      • Reissue grades to all vendors associated with the updated criteria.
      • Notify vendors of changes to their existing grades and any updates they need to make to remain compliant.

Key Considerations

  • Impact on Vendor Grades:
    • Updates to criteria will recalculate and reissue all previously assigned grades for the affected vendors.
    • Vendors will be informed of any updates to their compliance status.
  • Timing Your Updates:
    • Depending on the size of your vendor database, the regrading process might take some time.
    • To minimize disruption, consider making all changes at the end of the workday. This gives Trestle’s AI system enough time to process updates overnight.

By updating your prequalification criteria strategically, you can adapt to changing requirements without disrupting your workflow or compromising vendor compliance.
