Inviting Team Members to Collaborate in Trestle
One of Trestle’s unique features is the ability to invite your team members to collaborate on filling out a prequalification request. This allows you to divide the work, assigning tasks to those with the most relevant expertise to complete forms efficiently. Here’s how to invite team members and manage their permissions.
Steps to Invite Team Members
- Navigate to User Management
- Click on the gear icon at the top-right corner of the dashboard to access the Settings menu

- Select User Management from the left-side navigation bar. This will open the User Management page.

- Send an Invitation
- Click the Invite Team Members button.

- Fill in the required information for the team member you want to invite.

- Assign Access Roles
- You will need to assign two types of roles to the team member:
Organization Level Roles
- Owner: Admin-level permissions, including the ability to modify settings, questions, and manage team member access.
- Member: Limited permissions; cannot modify organization settings or manage other team members.
Prequalification Submission Roles
- Admin: Full access to all prequalification forms and settings, including billing. Can assign team members to sections and invite new users.
- Contributor: Access restricted to specific sections of prequalification forms as designated by an Admin. Ideal for team members completing only specific portions of the form.
- Send the Invite
- Once you’ve filled out the necessary information and assigned roles, click Send Invite to notify the team member.
Managing Team Member Permissions
After a team member accepts their invitation:
- Navigate back to the User Management page.
- Click the three dots next to their name and select Edit.

- A window will open on the right side, allowing you to:
- Adjust their permissions.
- Specify which sections of the prequalification form they can view and edit.
Key Benefits
- Streamlined Collaboration: Split tasks among team members for faster completion.
- Role-Based Access: Ensure team members only access the sections relevant to their expertise.
