Tagging a vendor with the correct scope of work is critical. With the scope of work tag, you can quickly and accurately search for other subcontractor or suppliers that perform the same services as a vendor you are currently viewing.
đź’ˇPro Tip: It's extremely important that you follow a clear structure when creating new tags. For example, if you want to add in stainless steel rebar:

❌ Avoid tagging just the larger group category of Reinforcing Steel
To add a scope of work, click on the edit icon next to the Scopes of Work header:

Using the Scopes of Work shelf on the right, select if you are using NAICS or CSI code structures:

Use the search bar to find the exact scope you are looking for by typing inside. Trestle will find all codes that contain your search and highlight it for you.

Select the scope of work codes you would like to associate to this vendor by checking off the box next to the code. The codes you select will be shown at the top in the "Selected Codes"Â section.
Now your new scope of work is added to the list and should be tagged under the Scopes of Work section on the vendor's profile.
Clicking on each scope tag will search your database for all other vendors with the same tag.
