Managing Access to Vendor Prequalification Submissions
Prequalification submissions often include sensitive and confidential vendor information. However, not everyone on your team needs access to all the details. Trestle’s default settings ensure transparency while safeguarding sensitive data:
- Default Visibility: All team members with Trestle access can see whether a vendor is "Qualified," "Conditionally Qualified," or "Not Qualified." However, they cannot access further details without explicit permission.
- Granting Section-Specific Access: You can provide additional access to specific sections of a vendor’s submission on an individual basis. For example:
- If Tony from your safety team needs to review corporate safety manuals but doesn’t require access to financial statements, you can grant him access to only the "Safety" section.
This feature allows you to:
- Maintain strict control over sensitive vendor information.
- Ensure team members only access the data they need for their roles.
- Safeguard vendor confidentiality while enabling efficient collaboration.
By managing access at a granular level, you protect sensitive information while empowering your team to work effectively.
To manage team member access, go to the settings page using the gear icon at the top right of your Trestle account

Once inside, navigate to the User Management page using the left menu

To modify a user's permissions, use the 3 dots on the right side of the corresponding user and select "Edit"

This will open a pop up window on the right hand side. You can add and remove access to specific sections by searching and adding or using the "x" to remove.
